A Black & White Affair

On Sunday June 2, we held our Fashion Gala: A Black and White Affair, and to put it simply, it was a success!

We had 13 models and 7 designers come out to share their stuff with those who attended, and at the end of the day we were able to raise $800, which will go directly towards helping solve the issue of youth homelessness in Toronto.

With performances from some amazing people, namely The Silhouettes Dance Company, the Argentine Tango Club , The Dance Duo , Aeon Attire , Jessica Dibiase , Martin Davoudi(violin) and Matt Poon (piano), the night was made an even more enjoyable one.

We also had Poonam Saini from Youth Without Shelter speak to the audience on youth homelessness, as a reminder of what all the night's efforts were going towards.

To sum it all up, it was a great night. Apart from the many great things listed above, we can't forget to mention (and thank) ava for donating this beautifully made 50 pound cake for our gala!
