Hello, friends! In Toronto alone, 10,000 youth are put on the street every year. The Trek for Teens Foundation raises funds and awareness for homeless youth in the city. Our goal is to open eyes to the epidemic that teen homelessness has become and make it easier for homeless youth to get out of bad environments.
How can you help? I'm glad you asked! Trek for Teens is looking for an inspired youth who enjoys writing and editing to help out with odd jobs like newsletters, flyers, blogs, information pamphlets, and anything else where a wordsmith may be of assistance. If you have a facility for words, you may be right for the job.
The ideal candidate is between 16 and 21 years old (youth helping youth!), self-motivated, reads above their grade, and knows the ins and outs of a complex sentence. Must be located in Toronto.
