SPOTLIGHT: STEPHEN ANTOLIN

Trek for Teens Foundation has been fortunate to be associated with Stephen Antolin.

Stephen is pursuing Master in Teaching degree at the University of Toronto while also working part time on campus and for a not-for profit youth mentoring program. Stephen has continuously strived for the betterment of his community. For the past two years, he has been working as a leadership facilitator and motivational speaker for Free The Children and, Me to We and has been a volunteer for St. Christopher's House tutoring English Language Learners.

After persevered training; on October 24th 2012, Stephen along with six of his friends, ran a marathon for ScotiaBank Toronto Waterfront Marathon and has raised over $1000 towards youth homelessness with immense support from his family, friends and the community. The proceeds went to Trek for Teens Foundation, and Covenant House.

We, at Trek for Teens, would like to take this opportunity to extend our sincere thanks to Stephen Antolin, for his generosity and willingness to help out and make a difference using his talents. He is an inspiration for everyone and we hope many others are encouraged to help us fight the cause of youth homelessness in any measure possible.
