The CHRA Takes Action

In May of 2012, the Canadian National Housing and Renewal Association (CHRA) launched a policy statement for ending youth homelessness in St. Johns, Newfoundland and Labrador. The policy statement outlines and offers many recommendations that could help the nation prevent and abolish youth homelessness. The CHRA declared that Canada must develop a comprehensive plan to end youth homelessness and recommends many principles and action points based on which federal government could develop ‘a national strategy ’.
