Youth Homelessness Conference

On Friday, April 22, 2016, Grade Seven and Eight students attended the Trek for Teens Youth Homelessness Conference at Brennan Hall. The day featured keynote speakers and presentations, workshops, engaging games, and additional information on both the issue of youth homelessness and how one can help make a difference. Students left the conference with greater knowledge of, appreciation for, and interest in the world of social justice causes as they related to youth homelessness. Trek for Teens would like to thank the students and teachers who attended and enthusiastically participated in the day's activities. A special thank you to Heroes in Black, Covenant House Toronto, and Youth Without Shelter for their continued contributions to the conference series.
