On any given night, there are over 200 youth experiencing homelessness in Sudbury. The youth unemployment rate is 15%, above both the provincial and national average. This puts many at risk, resulting in additional stress and difficulties, with over 220 youth requiring housing support every nine months.

Throughout the year, Trek for Teens Sudbury hosts many events such as drive-in movie nights and donation drives that support youth experiencing homelessness in Sudbury.
